Most of the summer mountain bike races, Dirt Crits, are hosted at Riflebutts MTB Park, Riflebutts Road, Mansfield. Races will usually alternate each week between Cross Country (XC) and Gravity races each week. Anything other than the standard Dirt Crit will be promoted on the MMBCC News page.

Dirt Crits will run from early October until late March except for Melbourne Cup Day and a few weeks off over Christmas/New Year. Check the calendar on the Home page for details of each race.

For the 2022/2023 summer there is no fee to enter Dirt Crits races each week.

Volunteers are needed in order for the races to happen. Dave Empey is the Race Director for Gravity races and Damian Grundy is in charge of Cross Country races; they require weekly assistance from volunteers.

All entrants must hold a valid AusCycling membership.
Dirt Crits are weather dependent and may be cancelled prior to, on the day of the event or during the event.
No Dirt Crits at Riflebutts MTB Park on a day of Total Fire Ban.
