MMBCC News - 30 June 2013. UPDATE.

Hi Everyone,

Please have a look at the following from the dirt committee -

WE NEED YOUR HELP!
The Mansfield BMX Track project has been brewing for some time now. Here's a quick update and a call for help.
The final touches are now being put on the planning permit application for the Mansfield BMX Track at the entrance to town, west of the wetlands. We now have some really exciting plans drafted by a professional BMX trail building and design company, Dirtz. The track design is of a standard that will support club level, state level and potentially national level events!
As part of our application to council we need to show how many hours of volunteer work have been pledged and by whom.
If you would be willing to help out on site once the project reaches the construction phase please email Paul Fletcher at paulfletcher30@bigpond.com, with how many hours you are willing to pledge to the project. Volunteer work would potentially include digging etc. associated with the track construction and drainage, landscaping around the track, planting seedlings as part of revegetation works, building fences.
This information of volunteer hours will also be used in any grant applications that the club prepares in relation to this project.
Also, if you know of anyone outside the club who would be willing to help please forward on this information and make sure they email Paul soon.
THANKS!

(and this is the original).

Well isn't it nice to have a bit of Winter upon us with those nice frosty mornings.

The wonderful Road committee has put together a Winter Road Race Series for everyone to enjoy (provided you have a licence and are nice to all the officials).

It starts on Sunday 16 June at the Botanical Park. PLEASE be there at 9.30am for registration and all races will start at 10.00am.

Click on this link (www.mmbcc.org.au/road-racing) to go to the web site for more details. We have also uploaded to Google Calendar for the sophisticated rider. (www.mmbcc.org.au/events-calendar).

Cheers,

John.
