Dirt Crits Senior Race Report 19 Oct
It was a big turn out at Dirt Crits this week with 22 starters in the Senior event. Newcomers included Nick Hinnaberg, Joel Marison, Christie Hamilton and Cameron Dobson. It was great to see Jai Lerch-MacKinnon back into the Dirt Crits scene. Allan Gerrans, a newcomer to mountain biking, was keen to work on his skills.
Damian Grundy had worked hard on analysing the times from the previous weeks to make the Irish handicap a tight race. He did a great job as the majority of the riders finished within one minute of each other. First over the line was Jai Lerch-Mackinnon, followed by Joel Marison and Ben Grundy. Dave Moore had an excellent return to Dirt Crits taking out fourth place, followed by Alan Gerrans and Ollie MacDonald taking fifth and sixth place, respectively. Fastest rider of the night was Kian Lerch-MacKinnon. Great work!
Cam Lachal is running the event on Monday night so we look forward to seeing you there!
