The Victorian Downhill Mountain Bike series is being held at Mt Buller on the 23rd and 24th of January.
This is an MMBCC event! Woo hoo!
This presents a real opportunity for roadies to participate as volunteers in what is definitely the “excitement end” of Mountain Biking. Buller is the flagship of the Victorian Series and it promises to be a great weekend racing. Also this gives roadies the opportunity to help out in a MTB event and to look forward to this being reciprocated, ie. MTBer’s helping out at road and BMX events.
Marshals are required on Mt Buller Saturday 23rd January 9:30am – 4:30pm and Sunday 24th January 7:00am – 4:30pm. You might even like to share a day with a mate, say do a morning and have your besty do the afternoon.
In return each volunteer will be provided with lunch and refreshments each day, a volunteer’s pack from the MMBCC, including a new club t-shirt, a valid lift pass to access the course and a box seat to some of the best adrenaline-filled action on two wheels at Mt Buller this summer. Plus there will be a lucky volunteer draw prize held at the end of the event with a mystery bag of prizes for one lucky volunteer.
All interested parties should contact Damian Grundy via mobile 0411 045 771.
This is a great opportunity for our club folks, so get on board and let's make this happen!
