A road bike is your lover.”

Jake Lay GoFundMe

For those of you that road race on Thursday nights, you’ll have met Jake Lay. He drives over from Euroa each week to give us a flogging. He did really well in our Tour back in March too!

He’s aiming higher now. He’s been offered a ride with a Belgian U23 team and needs a hand to get himself to Europe. Click here for details.

Wahoo Kickr Core for sale

Ryan Schultz has a direct-drive smart trainer for sale. It’s a bargain!

ATC Gravel Ride

Tonight will be the first All Terrain Cycles Gravel Ride.

Meet Bruce and Wayne at ATC shop at 5.30 pm for an hour long ride. Sausage sizzle and recovery refreshments afterwards; probably.

Vic Schools MTB Series

By Tim Ross

Auscycling are running the Victorian Schools MTB series again this year with details just to hand.

The series consists of four events, one per month from June to September, on a Sunday (except that the last event is a Sat/Sun double-header). It is similar to the Alpine Cycling Club races that a number of our kids participated in over the summer, but all cross country rather than a mixture of cross country and downhill. As with the summer series, kids can do the whole series or just pick and choose dates that work for them.

A large number of Mansfield kids from years 2 to 11 participated in the series last year. Our experience was of a well-organised event that was fun for the kids and prioritises participation, although the competition is keen!

Go to www.auscycling.org.au/page/mountain-bike-schools-stateterritory-series for more details, including dates, venues and the series guide.

Contact me if you have any queries. Hopefully we can get a group of Dirt Critters to take part this year.
