The MMBCC Annual General Meeting will be held at the Mansfield Hotel at 7pm on Wednesday 16 October.

Dirt Crits

MTB racing at Riflebutts MTB Park will start for Adults on Tuesday 8 October at 6pm.

Junior Dirt Critters will likely start a week later on Tuesday 15 October. Time to be confirmed.

Summer Road Racing Series

Road racing will start on Thursday 10 October at 6pm with a lap of the Barwite Loop. The duty roster is available here (keep an eye on it, there might be changes before the first race) and the full calendar and Entry Boss links will be up soon.

ATC Gravel Ride will change to Monday

With Dirt Crits about to start on Tuesday nights, the weekly ATC Gravel Rides will move to Monday nights, starting on Monday 7 October.

Congratulations Elise!

In case you’ve been living under a rock, Elise Empey finished 9th in the Elite Women’s Downhill at the MTB World Championships in Andorra a couple of weeks back.

Here’s a roundup of the Worlds from PinkBike and Elise gets a mention. And here’s a brief interview after qualifying in 2nd place for the Loudenvielle World Cup a week later, where she finished 7th.

Lachy’s Lap of Oz

EF ProCycling’s Lachlan Morton is riding around Australia, raising funds for the Indigenous Literacy Foundation along the way. As of Sunday afternoon he’s almost made it to Western Australia, having covered just over 35% of the total distance. You can see his progress here.

ProVelo Super League

The National Road Series is no more. But next year it’ll be replaced by the ProVelo Super League, running from January to March. And SBS have announced that they’ll broadcast all the races!
