Brought to you by…
In 2021 the Mansfield Mt Buller Cycling Club will host The Mansfield Hotel Tour on Saturday 20 and Sunday 21 March.
Changes for 2021
A COVIDsafe plan will be in place for the whole weekend. All participants, officials and spectators will be required to maintain social distancing where possible and adhere to the plan.
Registrations and Presentations will now be held at The Mansfield Hotel, our main sponsor.
The Stage One Individual Time Trial is now an out-and-back course and will have a full road closure. It starts in the same spot as previously and now finishes there as well. Please note: with the full road closure there will be no cars allowed on the course!
Stage Two has been shortened; and will now finish on the Coombesberg.
Finally … a reminder, not a change: the road to Mt Buller will close at 8am on Sunday morning to all but official event traffic.

Spectator recommendations
Stage 1
On top of the “Coombesberg” - the steep pinch on Old Tolmie Road. Riders will be seen twice, once in each direction. But remember, there will be a full road closure for this stage. You either need to drive out before the ITT starts, walk the 4.5km from the start line or walk about 1km from the turnaround.
Stage 2
Photographers, get to the top of Corn Hill, near the corner of Buttercup Road and take some great shots of riders climbing up Corn Hill for the QoM/KoM, with Mt Buller in the background.
Drive north out of Mansfield along the Whitfield Road, turn right onto Barwite Road, then right again onto Old Tolmie Road. Head up the hill and turn left onto Soldiers Road for parking and cheer them across the line on top of the Coombesberg.
Stage 3
Get up to Mt Buller to cheer the riders as they cross the line. But remember, the road will close at 8am at the base of the mountain to all but official race traffic.
